PosMalaysia's inefficiency

Here I am again, ranting bout the same old thing. Again. Yet the funny part is, despite complaints and suggestions given, nothing has been done to improve. Is this really how any national company should operate in this country?

It is interesting to note that a national delivery company is doing tonnes of other things - payment for utilities bills, assessments and such - and is currently offering even more services or products for sale in its outlets. Yet, it can't even accomplish service efficiency in its core product/service - which is national delivery.

Then again, perhaps this is only a problem faced by small town people of RAWANG. I have heard from friends that in their locations such as Subang or Petaling, the outlets provide a separate counter to handle deliveries - this work best mainly because customers who just want to drop a quick parcels will not be stuck with others who are queuing up to pay their bills. This strategy make much more sense as focus are given to their core product/service. And of course, when there's no customer wanting delivery, the staffs can easily switch back to work on those bills.

Oh, since now I'm on the others or extra services - it is amusing to see how often the system breaks down which causes furious customers who either waiting in line, or customers who faced the same "System Down" the day before - shoots out burning fire breaths! Sometimes I take pity with the staffs, for their are not to be blamed for system failure and such. On other occasions I will be part of the pissed-off group, due to rude staffs and their extremely slow work attitude.

As PosMalaysia Rawang has just recently moved into AEON Rawang last month, it is understandable things can be a little messy. But surely, this move is not very sudden? I was told that the reason for the move is because the last location in a shop is getting very crowded and mainly they want to employ more staffs to deal with the crowd. Yet after a month of opening in AEON, no new staff has been employed - meaning to say the time is too short to hire? Like seriously?

Perhaps I should really take a fellow friend's suggestion into action. Open a booth outside PosMalaysia - service for sale is online bill payment with just RM2 charge. Surely I can easily make a hundred a day. All I need is - a laptop, internet connection and a printer.
